FACES OF THE CHEMICALLY SENSITIVE
Most people I meet with MCS have one or more related conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), fibromyalgia, allergies, asthma, multiple sclerosis, lupus, ADHD, M.E., Parkinson's, electrical sensitivity, Lyme disease, porphyria, and Gulf War Syndrome. Sherri Connell suffers from several of these conditions. Here is a brief overview of her story.

Sherri Connell got Lyme disease at the age of 14,
which
caused an additional illness, multiple sclerosis. She lost her horse, house,
career, and hobbies due to these illnesses 14 years ago. She started having MCS
symptoms about 8 years ago, but the symptoms have become more severe the past
two years. Because of her struggles, her husband founded The Invisible
Disabilities Advocate at http://www.MyIDA.org.
Through this outreach, many with chronic illness have received comfort,
validation, and hope. IDA hopes to launch a new campaign soon to help medical facilities, businesses
and churches start Perfume and/or Fragrance Free Policies. In addition, Sherri's
husband, Wayne also founded "Where is God Ministries," which can be found at:
