Report from CCE's Ladies' Retreat 2005
Accommodation at Retreat: In January 2005, Calvary Chapel Eastside held a Ladies' Retreat at Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine, Washington. Kim Case and Kerry Monroe sent out numerous announcements to the ladies prior to the retreat asking them to refrain from wearing fragrances so that Janine Ridings could attend in light of her chemical sensitivities. This is the first ladies' retreat Janine has been able attend in seven years. Thanks to all the ladies at CCE who gave up their fragrances for the weekend, making this experience possible for Janine! Thanks also to the Semiahmoo Resort for agreeing not to spray air fresheners in the hallways or in the guest rooms during CCE's weekend there.
